A person who holds an approved diploma-level qualification may be taken to be an early childhood teacher for the purposes of regulation 132 for a maximum of one day a week, when there is no Early Childhood Teacher on the premises.

The approved provider must notify the Regulatory Authority within 14 days if the waiver is no longer required

•     An approved provider of an education and care service that is listed on the Department of Education & Training Category 4 List – at some risk of bushfire or grassfire must ensure that: •	The service does not operate on any day that the Victorian Emergency Management Commissioner declares as having a 'Catastrophic' Fire Danger Rating that applies to the area or district at which that service is located.
•	The service's emergency and evacuation policies and procedures required under regulation 168 of the Education and Care Services National Regulations include an Emergency Management Plan for managing the service's bushfire and grass fire related risks.
•	The service's Emergency Management Plan is kept up to date, reflects the service's operating context, is reviewed at least once each calendar year, and includes:
o	a list of the service's emergency contact details
o	procedures for monitoring and managing bushfire and grassfire risks and events
o	procedures for identifying and managing events that may cause planned, unplanned or pre-emptive closure of the service
o	procedures for notifying families of children enrolled at the service of any closure
o	procedures for reviewing and updating the Emergency Management Plan.
•	A copy of the service's Emergency Management Plan is made available to the Regulatory Authority on request.

This service is approved to provide education and care to children from birth to over preschool age, including school children.

•		The approved provider must ensure that all children educated and cared for by the service have safe access to outdoor space during the renovation of the outdoor space.
•		The approved provider must ensure that educators are made aware of the risk assessment and follow the strategies to support children accessing outdoor space.

The approved provider must engage with an Early Childhood Teacher for the purposes of developing and implementing the education program being delivered to children being educated and cared for at this service.
The approved provider must take reasonable steps to recruit an early childhood teacher during the waiver period.
The approved provider must notify the Regulatory Authority within 14 days if the waiver is no longer required.

This service is approved to exceed the approved number of places during the period from Monday to Friday between the hours of 2:45pm to 4:00pm when it is 75 children

This service is approved to provide education and care to children from children from 15 months up to and including school children

This service is approved to provide a rest period from 12:00pm to 2:00pm on Monday to Friday.

The approved provider must ensure that all children educated and cared for by the service have safe access to outdoor space during the renovation of the outdoor space.

The approved provider must ensure that educators are made aware of the risk assessment and follow the strategies to support children accessing outdoor space

The Approved Provider must ensure the Regulatory Authority is advised 30 days prior to the waiver finish date if the waiver is no longer required, or if the works will not be completed by the waiver finish date.

This service is approved to provide education and care to children from birth up to and including school age children.

This service is approved to exceed the approved number of places during the period from Monday to Friday between the hours of 3:00pm to 5:00pm when it is 159 children

This service is approved to provide education and care to children from birth up to and including school children.

This service is approved to provide education and care to children from birth to over preschool age, not including school children.

This service is approved to provide a rest period from 12:30pm to 2:30pm on Monday to Friday.

A person who is a suitably qualified person as determined by ACECQA may be taken to be an early childhood teacher for the purposes of regulation 134(1)(a).

A person who is actively working towards an approved ECT qualification and has completed at least 30 per cent of the units, may be taken to be a suitably qualified person for the purposes of regulation 134(1)(b) for a maximum of two days each week when there is only one suitably qualified person on the premises.

The approved provider must engage with an Early Childhood Teacher for the purposes of developing and implementing the education program being delivered to children being educated and cared for at this service.

The approved provider must take reasonable steps to recruit an early childhood teacher during the waiver period.

The approved provider must notify the Regulatory Authority within 14 days if the waiver is no longer required.

This service is approved to provide a rest period from 1:00pm to 3:00pm on Monday to Friday.

This service is approved to provide education and care to a maximum of 68 children from birth up to and including over preschool age, not including school children

This service is not required to comply with P3 (c) and P5 (e) of SP5.4: Child Care Centres of the Queensland Development Code (publication date 1 September 2003).

This service is approved to provide education and care to children from birth up to and including over preschool age, not including school children.

This service is approved to exceed the approved number of places during the period from Monday to Friday between the hours of 3.00pm to 5.00pm when it is 80 children

This service is approved to provide education and care to a maximum of 75 children from birth up to and including over preschool age.

In accordance with Regulation 310 of the Education and Care Services National Regulations, this service is approved to provide a rest period from 12:00pm-2:00pm on Monday to Friday.

This service is approved to exceed the approved number of places during the period from Monday to Friday between the hours of 2:30pm to 4:00pm when it is 85 children

This service is approved to provide education and care to children from birth up to and including school children

From 17 October 2024, the approved provider must ensure that a staff member of Coolamon School of Early Learning conducts a visual head count of children being educated and cared for at the service every 30 minutes and during transitions. A written record must be made of each head count immediately after it is conducted, including details the time and date of the headcount and who conducted it.

From 17 October 2024, the approved provider must ensure that the nominated supervisor or responsible person of Coolamon School of Early Learning conducts an audit every 8 weeks (minimum 6 times per annum) to ensure that all staff employed by the service are following all of the service’s supervision policy and procedures. A written record of each audit must be made immediately after it is conducted, including details such as the time and date of the audit, who conducted it, and the accompanying audit results.

The approved provider must keep the written audit reports and head count records available for inspection at the approved premises by an authorised officer for twelve months after the making of each record.

The approved provider must ensure that:
 a. All new staff who attend the service, including permanent, relief and agency staff, must complete a service induction which includes training about service specific supervision requirements and how to comply with the service approval conditions;
and 
 b. This induction must be completed prior to them commencing any shifts; and  
c. The nominated supervisor or responsible person ensures that a written record signed by the new staff member is made immediately after the induction has been completed and indicates on that record that they are satisfied that the person fully understands the service’s supervision policy and procedures.
